Revelations 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
My oldest son has had multiple surgeries in his short life. He has scars on his chest, stomach, and back. When you see them, you see the proof of his 6 procedure on his heart. We say it is his battle scars, but their are times that it breaks his mother’s and my hearts to see his little scared chest. Today was one of those days until I thought of how one day God will take his scars and give him a new body. In life, we will watch our loved ones hurt and go through pain. You see scars that you wish you could wipe away. I’m sorry but you can not. What you can do is lead them to Jesus so that one day, God will wipe their pain and suffering away. My wife and I have to raise our children to find Christ so that God can wipe the scars away.
