Heaven’s Treasure

Matthew 6:19-20

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal

Banks have failed and been robbed, and safes have been cracked. No matter what treasure you have, one day it will fade. People think that the treasure you need in heaven is the streets of gold, your mansion, or every material thing you desire. The truth is that the main treasure in heaven is our salvation. The treasure is knowing that one day I will get to stand before God and bow before him. Christians need to get to the point that material things do not matter. Stop searching for treasure on earth. Know that the treasure you seek is already given to you, and that is eternal life in Jesus Christ.
