Don’t Turn To Revenge

2 Samuel 19:1-2

1 And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
2 And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.

Even though David’s son, Absalom had tried taking his kingdom, he still mourned his death. He would have rather of died than his son. Absalom had done his father so wrong, but yet David still would have laid his life down for him. This is the prime example of how we as Christians are supposed to be. We are supposed to forget about when someone does us wrong. We should not have to let go of the hate and strife towards them. It should never be there in the first place. We should be so close with God that when we are done wrong, we pray for them and forgive them. It should be so simple that even after they do you wrong, you would let them set at your table. Stop holding grudges and be more forgiving.
