Genesis 3:10-11
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Adam and Eve had eaten the fruit of knowledge. They learned they were naked and became ashamed. They did not want God to see them that way, so they hid. It’s like everyone who sins and tries to hide it. They think if they do it in secret that it will stay that way. They are ashamed of their actions and want to keep them in the shadows. God already knows your sin. You may hide from man but you will never be able to hide it from God. The best way to stop being ashamed of your sin is to simply stop sinning.
