Trust Fall

Psalms 21:5-7

5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved

David was a mighty king. He won wars and conquered many nations. However, even David did not claim this was by his own hand. He did something many of us have forgotten how to do, he trusted in God. He knew that without God leading him in his many battles he would have lost. He learned to fully trust in God without question. It’s like doing a trust fall with a friend. You know they are going to catch you. Unlike your friend, God will never let you fall just for a laugh. God wants us to trust in him just as David had learned to do. He is ready to help us in everything we do. So close your eyes, fold your arms, and fall into God’s arms.
