Become Pure

Proverbs 25:4-5

4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness

We are born into sin. It is a problem we struggle with in our flesh. When you think of it, we are like silver when it is first mined. It has impurities within that must be removed. In order to do this, the smelter will melt the silver and when the impure materials rise he removes them. He works until the silver is pure. It is like when God puts us through a trial, he is using it to purify us. At times the hardship of those trials seem like we may break, but
just like the silver being watched with the smelter, God is watching over us. As the impurities surface he can remove them. This is how we must learn to look at it. When we face the fire be thankful, because all God is doing is just removing another impurity.
