Stop The Gossip

James 4:11

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

We are all guilty of talking about people behind there back. We all tell embarrassing stories about people just to make people laugh. We find humor in thier embarrassment. Sometimes we tell stories just to tell people how sorry of a person or how childish someone can be. It’s all fun and games right? No, it is actually wrong to do. It is wrong to run around telling everyone that you saw your buddy throw a temper tantrum, it is wrong to run and tell everyone someone is having money trouble, and it is wrong to tell people about someone’s marriage trouble. The best thing we can all do is be quiet and pray for people. Let’s stop gossiping and start praying.
