Lust Has No Place

Matthew 5:27-28

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Before Christ came, it was blamed on the women for a man to lust and for any adultery that occurred. It was always her fault and that is why there was no man standing around when Jesus said, “He who is without sin cast the first stone.” Now Christ made it simple and straight forward. You cannot look at a woman with lust. Men have developed a problem with saying, well she shouldn’t have dressed that way, or she looked at me first, or I just couldn’t help myself. Would you tell Jesus those excuses? I doubt you would. Here is what you need to do stop looking at other women. If you are single, ask God to send you a good godly woman and if you are married well you need to go pray and have God help you with that. God gave you your wife and you took a vowel to her. So keep your eyes on God and your family. There is no excuse for it. Women the same goes for you. I don’t care if he is the best looking man you have ever seen. It does not give you the excuse to start lusting. I don’t care how nice he is or how good he makes you feel. If you are married, go home to your husband. You took a vowel as well. Stick to it. The best way for both men and womem to keep lust out of your minds and hearts is to keep God 1st in your lives and in your marriages.
