A Great Gift

Matthew 2:11


11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.


In a few days kids will wake up and run to their Christmas trees. The joy of each of their faces will make parents smile and some cry. It is a beautiful sight. However, the wise men got to see the greatest gift ever given. They got to see the messiah. That gift would change the world. He would lay down his life for us to live and welcome us into the family of God. So, in the next few days take time to tell your kids the greatest story. Tell them about the child in the manger. Let them know he is the reason we celebrate. Always keep Christ in Christmas.
