Listen

Romans 10:17-18

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Let’s think of faith. It is the substance of things hoped for but not yet seen. We live by it, but what does it have to do with listening? It has everything to do with it. If you had never heard of this man named Jesus, how would you have known you needed him? We heard his word preached. Then we learned to listen to the that small still voice to guide us. It is so easy and that is the hearing part. However, many people have stopped listening to the preachers and the voice of God. We get caught up in life. We start only praying and telling him our needs. If we have faith in God why not have faith that he will fix our problem or guide us how to? What we have to do is be quiet and listen again. When we listen our faith becomes stronger. Remember he is not just listening he is also thier to guide us. So please learn when to be quiet and listen. You will see your faith proved.
