God Is Watching

Proverbs 15:3


3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.


I keep seeing these posts of people showing where they have put the elf on the shelf. I think it is a cute game and it gets the kids to behave a little. They tend to act right when their christmas gifts are at stake. It makes me think of growing up, back when we didn’t have elf on the shelf. We would act right because it was like my parents had eyes everywhere. Now I am grown I realize they did not, but God does. I think of how people will sin in secret but when it comes to light they are so sorry for it. The reality is the one who you should be apologizing to knew the entire time. We forget that he sees and hears all. He knows our very thoughts and every step we take. He is there seeing if we take the right one or if we are going to step off the path and go the wrong way. He is also there watching for us to get back on the right path. So when you think that no one will ever find out, just know God is always watching.
