Be Transformed

Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

As we become Christians we are supposed to begin to change from our old ways. We will see people who try to get us to do the things we used to. We are supposed to become more like Christ. For some reason I am seeing people who claim to be Christians tell others that it’s OK to act like a sinner, to do the things sinners do, and then on Sunday act like a Christian. They try to live just close enough to God to make it to heaven, but still live in sin. I will be the one to tell you that they are wrong. It is all or nothing.. We are supposed to start training our minds to ignore temptation. Our bodies are supposed to be as perfect to Christ as we can get. With out sin. If we train our minds away from sin then we can help others learn to do the same. We are not supposed to blend in with the world we are supposed to stand out. If a sinner only sees other sinners how will they ever see Christ in us. Stop acting like the world and put your mind back on Christ.
