1 Kings 18:21
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
We all have held back and stayed at arms reach of God. We are straddling the fence. We do not want to let our old life go, but we also want to serve God. We have to choose. There is no having it both ways. When we accept Christ we are supposed to begin changing from our old ways. So many of us, and yes I include myself, will struggle on letting go. It might be we can’t let go of our anger or the grudge we have held. Maybe its that one sin we keep going back to. The thing is though we cannot serve God and the world. Like I said we have to choose. Christ chose to rebuke temptation and no sin. He was offered everything the devil could offer, but he still refrained from sin. We have to make a choice and I pray that you follow me and choose the path of God.
