Psalms 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting
Have you ever set down and thought, what if God searched me? Would he find anything that shouldn’t be in my life? Our goal is supposed to be as close to being Christ like as possible. On the surface we sometimes appear to be the perfect christian, but deep down we have things that are needed to be removed. We may have done something that we have never thought was a sin, like speaking ill of your neighbor, or thought why can’t I have a new house or car like them. Sometimes we need to stop and say search me God and let me know what I need to correct, and see what he has to show you. It may be something you don’t want to hear. But hey, who said being a Christian and walking the right path was easy, but it is well worth it.
