God is Not A Liar

Number 23:19-20

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

God is nothing but truth. What he said is the final word. It is law. He does not lie nor does he not hold true to his promises. At times I find myself thinking of all he has promised to his children and I find hope in any situation. Yea, sometimes life gets hard. The unexpected happens and life beats you down, but remember the promises of God. If you serve him and only him he will bless you abundantly. Those blessing are not only physical things. It can be healing for you and your family. It can be wisdom to get through a hard situation. It could also be that family member led to him that you have been praying for. So, when everything seems to be falling apart know that God is still in control. He promises us so much more than pain and heartache that we find ourselves in. He promises peace and blessings we cannot count. Nothing anyone can say or do can remove those blessings. Remember the blessings and promises of God.
