Lamentations 3:25:26
25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
Today was a big day for my family. For the last four years we have had to travel to the cardiologist for my son every 3 to 6 months for echos. After six procedures on his little heart, we got the news today that his little heart is doing good. When we heard the news, a little voice spoke to me. Was it worth the wait? The answer, yes. Every tear we cried, every prayer we prayed, every devastating news of another surgery was worth hearing those words today. You see, God is going to be there. You just might have to wait. Most of us want him to answer the prayers then and there, but he may have a plan that we may not understand. He may be getting us ready for an answer we are praying for. I promise if you hold on just a little longer and keep praying, the answer will come. Do not give up and throw in the trowel. The answer you are seeking is worth the wait.
