Exodus 3:7-8
7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
God heard their cry and knew their sorrows. You may not realize it but that should mean the world to us. He cared that his people were in torment. He decided he was going to set them free. He then chose Moses to be the one to carry out the task. Today we have fallen under ridicule for our beliefs. Around the world people are falling into addiction. Marriages are falling apart. Recovered addicts are falling off the wagon. God sees and hears the cries of his people. He wants them to be set free. All he is waiting on is the Christians to stand up and tell the enemy no more. Don’t wait on someone else to do it, ask God what you can do to help lead people to the freedom in Christ. God wants to bless us. All we Christians have to do is lead people back to him and all his promises.
