Genesis 22:8
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Today I was thinking if God tests us. While thinking this verse came to mind. Abraham had enough trust in God that when asked to offer his son, he did without question. He knew God had a plan and was willing to follow God’s path for him. He stayed so close that when God saw he would do what was asked he stopped and his son was spared. In the bushes was a ram. Abraham had been faithful that God supplied the sacrifice. Sometimes God will test us. He might ask you to do something only to stop you before you complete the task and you are wondering what it was all about. It was to see if you are truly willing to follow his instructions. So when God says do something. Do not hesitate. Get up and go for it. He may be testing you.
