Our Flaws

James 5:16

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I will be the first person to tell you I have faults. My temper is something I pray daily about. My father, who has preached thirty plus years has the same issue. So, why is it that we want sinners to see us as perfect people? We are far from it and they see that. When we act like we have no faults and then they see us stumble, they see us as hypocrites. Each and everyone of us has our faults. I’m not saying give into then, but I’d we let sinners know that we have our flaws then they will see that they can make it to Christ as well. They will see us more as a human who is striving to be like Christ rather the hypocrites they have come to see us as. Also, if we know each others faults that helps us pray for one another to overcome our struggles. We will all have faults until we walk into heaven, so stop acting like your perfect. Only Christ achieved that.
