Matthew 14:28-31
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Life can get messy. Storms rise up and we come under attack. We always find ourselves looking away from the one that protects us from it all, Jesus. However, just like Peter, Christ is there to help us rise back above the storm. He didn’t put Peter down. He took his hand and lifted him up. In day to day life you will see the storms of life and become afraid, but I promise if you keep your eyes on Christ they will not hurt you. He is there to lead us through the storm. All we have to do is have faith in him. Know that when he speaks the storm will have to cease. If you mess up and fall during the storm reach up and he will take your hand, just like he did Peter. Jesus will let you sail above the crashing waves. Keep your faith in him.
