Happy New Years

Proverbs 16:9

9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Tonight we close out 2021. Starting tomorrow almost everyone will have a new year’s resolution. They will make plans to eat healthier, workout more, and be better people. They make a perfect plan and then by January they slack off and give up. It is the same way with Christians. They will make a plan to pray more, read the Bible more, and get closer in thier walk with Christ. Then within a month they will slack off. The problem is they go into it for their glory. It should not be for your glory, it should be done to magnify the glory of God. So make your plans. Decide you are going to get closer to God this coming year and then stop and listen to him. Let him direct you though this year and see how far you will make it letting God take control. Happy New Year and God bless.
