Proverbs 1:22-24
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded
We have fallen in love with whatever is the easiest path to take. We follow the group so no one looks at us as bigots. It is a simple choice and we have chosen wrong. It is time to wake up. God is calling you to make the choice for him. Stop taking the easy way out so you can fit in. Christians, it is time we turn back to God. It is time we rejoice in the knowledge of his word. Write it on your heart and then spread the good news of Christ. Our faith is being challenged by simple minded people, who follow the world blindly. I will only follow my great sheppard and serve only him. I will not take the words of man. They know nothing of the complexity of our God. It is time we turn back to God. It is time we delight in his word. It seems complicated but it is so simple.
