John 19:17
16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
When people in church claim they are to tired to testify or sing I think, what if Jesus got to tired to climb the hill? What if he just laid down and quit? What would of happened to us if he said he was done and did not go through with the crucifixion? We would be in trouble. We never would have been given the beauty of grace. We would still be the lowest of the earth. The only way we would of been able to find God is to follow the Old Testiment laws after converting to a Jew. Those laws where nearly impossible to follow. Jesus did make a better way for us. So when you think you have had a bad day and can’t testify, remember the stripes on his back. When you think of an excuse of why not to sing, remember the crown of thorns he wore that bloodied his head. When you think you are to tired, just remember after the beatings, the lashes, and the crown of thorns he carried a cross up a hill. He must have been wore out, but he did not stop. He knew what was waiting on him at the top, yet he pressed on. I thank God that Jesus did not get to tired and set down.
