Give An Answer

1 Peter 3:15

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear

You never know when you will be asked about the word. You may be asked if something is sin, you may be asked how can you believe, or something as simple as how God led you through a trying time. We must be ready to answer the questions. If something is a sin, know the word to show that person what scripture says it is a sin. If they ask how you believe in God, be prepared to show where your faith has grown and show them how God brought you through impossible odds. If asked about trying times, share your testimony. Share what verses out of the word helped you. Answer with truth and leave opinion out of it. When we are able to give an answer that we can back with scripture or a testimony it gives power behind it. We can give the hope people need. Study, pray, and seek God’s wisdom to give that answer to the lost.
