My Bodyguard

Isaiah 52:12


12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.


Think of it like the body guards. You have those who stand beside you, those that go ahead of you, and then those that tail behind you. They should have every point covered. However, we all have seen those movies where they mess up and the person they are supposed to be protecting dies. It is never like that with God. He is all around you protecting you. He never messes up. We do. When we step out of his will, he let’s trials come our way that remind us of how we need his protection. That loving powerful protection that nothing can cross. It’s like having a big brother that everyone is afraid of. Nothing is greater than he is. All we have to do is accept and follow him. He will give us a protective detail that no bodyguard unit can even compare to.
