John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Today a coworker and I were having a conversation of how we learn from the Bible. We both spoke of how we were led to different verses at different times in our lives and how something in them stood out to us. Most of the time it was not even the verse we had been searching for, but it was the one we needed. We both agreed that what had led us to those verses was the Holy Ghost that this verse speaks of. You see, God knows what we need to learn and when we need to learn it. He knows that as we mature in his word the more he will have his spirit lead us through the scripture. So, when you are studying and that one verse sticks in your mind, pray and read it again until God reveals to you what he is needing to teach you. Those lessons are the ones that we need the most. They are the ones that we can use to help others.
