Listen To Him

Deuteronomy 12:28


28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.

Have you ever listened to the word of God. I mean truly listened. Not twist it for your own personal gain or to show that what you are doing is right when it very well may be wrong. We have to read and listen to his word. It’s not just about reading a verse here and there. It is listening to the spirit and letting it guide you while you read. It is like speaking to your child. There are times that you know they hear you but are not truly listening to you. You know when they are listening. It is like that with God. He know when we are not truly listening to the spirit and he knows when we are truly listening and understanding. That is all God is asking us to do. He wants us to listen and follow his instructions. The next time you read scripture, try and listen to his words. Hear them in your heart and learn to understand them.
