The Bill Is Due

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your friend takes you to a nice restaurant and says that it is on them. The food is so good that you eat til you feell like you are going to bust. However, when the waiter brings the check you realize that your friend has left you holding the bill. Not much of a friend is he? That is how the devil works. He pulls us into sin and at first it is fun, but when the bill comes due he leaves us holding it. That bill cost us so much more than we ever intended. Christ doesn’t hand us the bill to pay. He already payed it. Salvation is free. Sin is not. Sin destroys your life. It takes you away from your family. It wrecks homes. It destroys nations. It is corrosive. The reward is being cast out and hearing those dreadful words, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” I would rather take the one that is free and good. You see the bill that the nations and the people who rebelled against him have accumulated, it is due, and they are going to have to pay that bill. We do not need to have any part of it. We need to hold to our salvation and pull as many as possible away from the devils table. We need to bring them to the beautiful salvation of God. Start spreading the word, The Bill Is Comeing Due.
