Pray For The Sick

James 5:14-15

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

How many of your know someone with a sick loved one or have one yourself? Maybe you are the one battling health conditions. It seems like everytime you turn around some sort of sickness has claimed someone else’s life. Hospitals are over crowded and everyone is wondering how do we fix it. Now, I am not saying that you stop going to the doctor, I am saying it is time we get men and women of God to start praying for the sick again. I have seen prayer heal the sick and prove doctors wrong. I have seen when doctors give up, prayer would change it. What happened to us? When did we stop praying for the sick? What changed us? This time I do not know the answer. I do know that if we turned back to the way the Bible told us to handle things, we would start seeing a healing again. I urge you to, that when someone is sick, get the prayer oil out and pray for them. Have faith that God will heal them. You will be surprised what he can do. It is time we see our sick healed and the hospitals emptied out.
