Break the Chains

Deuteronomy 6:12

12 Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Think back of when you was in bondage. The devil had you chained down into sin. He had control over you. Then one day Jesus came your way and broke those chains. You never looked back. The sad part is we forget about those who are still in bondage. We forget that exactly where we just came from is someone’s loved ones still shackled down by sin. Why is it that when we begin our walk with God and never look at the sinner anymore because we feel that they can leave that situation at any time. We forget that it took a calling from Christ for us to break free. I want to challenge you to something. Everyone of us has a family member still in the shackles of sin. Pick one family member and pray, and I mean truly pray, that Christ we reach down and bring them to God. Then once that happens, cause it will, pray for another one. To many are still in bondage. It is time that we pray for God to break those chains.
