Compromising Ministers

Matthew 16:26

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Would you change just so more people would come and set in your house? Would you be different depending on who you are talking too so everyone likes you? What about would you tell people a lie just so they come back to see you? You might think I am talking about politicians, even though I wouldn’t be wrong, but I am talking about ministers. So many are more worried about how many people they can fill there seats with. They want everyone to feel special so they water down the word and pat people on the back. They care more about the offering plate than reaching souls. They have sold out and turned from what God has called them to do. It is sad to watch. As a young minister it breaks my heart to watch. I believe ministers should stand on the word. No matter who gets thier feelings hurt. A true minister will not sell out for more people to hear them. They do not care about an offering. If thier preaching offends someone, well i urge you to pray and tell Jesus they are doing a good job. Because a true minster stands on the word and will never sell out for money or fame. They might hurt your feelings, but if they are following the word you are probably in need of a good soul cleaning. They may be few and far between, but they still exist. Don’t follow a politicians wearing a pastor title. Seek a true man of God that stands on the word.
