Matthew 25:3-6
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Everyday a call goes out. Every moment someone meets thier judgement. They will answer whether they were wise or foolish. They have to be judged on if they have what it takes to meet the bride groom. One day each and everyone of us has to answer that call. Will you be found that you prepared for the journey or will you not have what it takes. We have to be ready. In ancient Galilee the bride never knew when her wedding feast would be held. She had to always be prepared. She was always dressed and ready to go. At any moment the bride groom would come and everyone ready would join the precision. Those who were not ready or late could not enter the feast. So when the cry goes out for each and every one of us, will you be ready? Will you be ready to join the feast? I pray that we are all ready. Because know matter when you hear that cry, because we all will hear it, God will see if you are ready. Make no mistake the bridegroom is coming. You may have 5 years or 5 minutes, the time will come that the call will go out. Be ready to meet the bridegroom and enter into the marriage supper.
