Seek His Face

Psalms 105:3-4

3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

We should rejoice in the name of God. We should rejoice in seeking him. We should rejoice when we find him. But wait, what does it mean to seek the face of God? How can we seek his face? Let me explain. Have you ever been drained bot mentally and physically and then start praying to God? Out of nowhere you feel his presence all around you. Have you ever just wanted to be closer to God? So all day you pray, you seek scripture, and with every action you feel his presence that much stronger around you? That is seeking his face. We cannot truly see his face because he even told Moses we would die if we saw him, but we can seek him. When it says seek his face it means seek him and his presence in your life. When I have had a bad day and I feel his presence as I pray I feel comfort. When I have a decision to make I pray and he gives me peace on what way to go. Even when I have had a great day I pray to him and thank him for it. God is wanting us to seek him out in every moment of our lives. He wants us to rely on him. Then when we have those great days still seek him and just tell God thank you. So remember seek God and feel his almighty presence.
