11 And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
12 And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
We all face battles that seem impossibke to win. The enemy has built mighty strongholds against us. We think we are big enough to take them on, but we are tiny. Inside of us is a lion. His roar will shake the foundations of those strongholds but he will do so much more. It says he will spread his hand as if to swim and swat them down. Think of a man swatting and killing a bug. Our God is so powerful that the enemies strongholds are as bugs to him. It does not matter who builds the fortress. No matter if the government decides we are banned from serving God. He will bring down that strong hold. If you don’t believe me read the whole Bible. He has destroyed many nations. No fortress nor nation can rise against our God. The enemy is nothing more than a fly to be swatted by him. So let the lion of Judah roar and watch him bring down the strongholds.
