Continue to Pray

Matthew 26:41

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

We forget that are bodies is only temporary. That our spirit, soul, or whatever you want to call it will live on. We will make a plan that we are going to follow Christ and sustain from sin, then we are like that trained dog that sees a squirrel. We fall to the flesh. Christ gave us a way to overcome the temptation he told us to pray. You see when we are praying to God it is like being on your phone walking through the store someone has to literally get in front of you and yell to get your attention. We do not have to second guess who it is. So when we are praying and the devil yells at us he makes himself known and those little thoughts he is trying to put into our head are not so discreet anymore. With that line open directly to God we already have him defeated. Don’t close that line. Keep praying. Make the spirit so strong that we are always watching for the adversary’s little tricks. All Christ ask was for his followers to pray, so let us pray and continue to watch.
