Flipping Tables

Matthew 21

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

If Jesus walked into our homes today would he set at our tables, would he watch, what we have on our screens, and would he join in on the conversations we are having. You can say our homes are not the temple, but our bodies are supposed to be. The Bible says we are a living temple that the spirit of God comes into. If thats the case, how many of us would have to clean up after Jesus flipped the table? How many of us would have to ask for forgiveness for the things he found? We look back and say how evil they had to of been for Jesus to flip tables and throw them out of the temple, but is any sin greater than the others? If you are a Christian you know that the answer is no. If you are a Christian you know we are supposed to do our best to be like Christ. So, we should be trying our best to be to a point that if Jesus enter in he would set at our table and not grab it and flip it to correct us. He would find nothing to throw out and he would be pleased with the way we are keeping God’s temple.
