Psalms 51:9-10
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me
We try to keep our house clean, but we have two young boys that dirty up the place as fast as we can clean. Tonight, it got really bad when my youngest found a can of shaving cream. While my wife started cleaning the floor, I began to chase the little 18 month old through the house, trying to clean him off. I kept telling him if he would just hold still, I could wipe his arms off quicker. That’s when I began to think that if Christians would just stop and hold still, God could wash us clean. If we could just let him take away the dirt and grime our hearts have collected from the world, we could grow closer to him. It is so easy, and once you do, God can build you into what he intended you to be. Once you let him clean your heart, you will grow spiritually. Just think all you have to is stand still and let God clean your heart.
