Praise Him In The Storm

Matthew 8:24-25

24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish

So many times, Christians forget how to praise God when things get bad. They start begging him to save them, but forget all the times he has saved them before. Christians have become like the disciples. They were on a boat with Jesus and were so afraid they woke him up. They did not realize that he was never going to let them sink. All they had to do was trust in God and praise him. Christians need learn that the time to praise God is not when the battle is over but when it is the hardest point. This shows the enemy that we have our victory and that no matter what the enemy throws at us, it will fail. So, when you are being attacked on all sides, rejoice in that moment not when the battle is over.
