Servant

1 Corinthians 9:19

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto
all, that I might gain the more.

We are all free to live our lives. We are free to serve God or not. We can
choose to follow the teachings of Christ or live a life of sin. We are free to do as we please. However, would it really be bad to serve our common man? I’m not talking about cleaning their homes, cooking their food, or doing their every bid. I am simply talking about being willing to help them to Christ. Be a servant that leads them to the altar. Be the one who is humble enough to say that I was once a sinner just like they are. Being a servant does not just mean being a maid or a butler. You can serve your brothers and
sisters by being a person willing to pray for the sinner, pray for the
family that is sick, or pray for the family that is struggling to stay
together. You can serve the sinner by willing to pray that God brings them into the fold, by telling the truth of heaven and hell, and that Jesus Christ died for their sins so that they may have eternal life. A Christian is not a ruler of the world. We are the servants that are meant to lead the sinner to Christ.
