Respect The Vow

Romans 13:4

4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Today I had a conversation with a co worker about what is wrong with the world. The first thing he mentioned is the fact that no one respects the vow of marriage anymore. You have both men and women who think it is fun to try and get a married person to cheat. They do not look at the ring on their finger as an off limits sign, but as more of a challenge. If you are one of these people, shame on you. If you are one of the people married who enjoy the attention, shame on you as well. The only attention you should be seeking is from your spouse. God will judge those who step outside of their marriages and he will punish those who tried to come between a marriage. If you are married and someone tries to cross that line, stop it before it starts, even if you have to get blunt and hurt feelings. Make it to where people like this know their is no chance and that you honor the vow you took before God.
