Luke 10:7
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
James 1:17
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Today we celebrated my youngest birthday. He is about to turn a year old. It was chaotic trying to get everything set up, and while we were working on it, a thought occurred to me. There was a time we prayed for this chaos. There was a time we thought we would never be able to have this blessing. I know my children are blessings from God and they are perfect. However, I also know that those perfect blessings take work. You see most of us want our blessing without any work. We want the easy way. Anything worth having is worth working hard for. I do not care if God blesses you with a steak for dinner, you still have to cook it. If God blesses you with a new car, you still have to change the oil. So know that when God gives you a blessing, it is always worth putting in some work for.
