Jeremiah 1:6-8
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
I once stood before a church packed with people. As a young preacher it was terrifying. I thought that I was way too young in christ to preach to this many people. I felt completely unqualified. But as I began to let God take control, it became easy to speak and I was able to deliver the message. I have learned that when God send us and we let him take control, the nerves fade. We do not fear who is in the crowd nor do we worry about what people may think of us. The enemy will try to tell you that you’re not qualified nor are you worthy to speak about God. Ignore it. Listen to God and let him lead your words. Let him tell you what to say. Remember God does not call the qualified. He qualities the called.
