Exodus 17:11-12
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
As long as Moses had his hands raised the children of Israel would start winning. As soon as his hand dropped then enemy began to gain ground. Just like Moses holding up his hands, when we stand for God, the enemy loses ground. However, when we set down the enemy gains ground. I know it gets hard at times. I know we get tired. You start to wonder how you are still standing. Look behind you. Just like God did for Moses, he has sent someone to hold you up. So stand tall and refuse to give the enemy ground. He is going throw everything he has at you. He wants you to set down. Stay standing no matter what. Don’t give an inch of ground. Don’t surrender a single battle. I know you will get tired. Remember, God has people in your life to give you strength and hold you up so you never drop.
