Counsel and Instructions

Proverbs 19:20

20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Have you ever tried to put something together without reading the instructions? The whole time someone is telling you to read them. However, you know best. When you are done you have so much extra parts and then you realize that maybe you should have listened and read the instructions. That is what God is wanting you to do. He gave us instructions. It is easy to follow and literally spelled out in the Bible. Then God put these people we call elders in our life’s to help us. They have lived and learned the hard way of how to follow instructions. When they speak listen to thier counsel. When we learn how to read the Bible and listen our elders that is when we gain wisdom. This makes us grow in God. Don’t go at life alone and blind. Pick up you instruction manual and read it. Find a few good elders and let them counsel you. Ask them questions and take the answers to heart.
