Ezekiel 3:18
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
A while back I asked an older preacher, “How do you tell someone something is wrong knowing that you are going to hurt their feelings?”
His answer was simple, “I do it because if I don’t, there blood is on my hands.”
Now I see exactly what he meant. God made it clear to the profit. We are supposed to tell some one that their ways are wicked or their blood could be on our hands. That is a scary thought. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want that. I want to stand and know I gave it all. Sometimes the sinner will not listen to our warnings. They will ignore you. If you have done exactly what God spoke to you to do, then you have nothing to fear. If you did not, then you will answer for it. That does not mean your have to scream at them and run them down. Sometimes all it take is to ask, would you do that in front of Jesus? That question can make people think. You have to try to reach them. I would rather someone get upset over me telling the truth, than to think that they are fine in their sin.
