2 Kings 5:13-14
13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
We all have been so sick that we would do anything to feel better or got physically hurt and begged God to heal the pain. What if God spoke and said go lay in a mud puddle right beside the main highway. You not everyone is going to see you. They are all going to think you are crazy. Do you have the faith in God to go and do what he asks? What if he said I will make your rich if you go and stand on your head in the middle of the grocery store or he bless your family if you waddle like a duck so everyone can see you? What if all God asks is server me and nothing else, and then I will do all the things. You see, we all want this glorious event for God to move in our lives. We want scores of people to be there, but we don’t need that. All we need is to accept him. Ask him, God my family needs you, let him know, God I am in pain, or God takes this sickness from me. We no longer have to ask the Prophet to tell us what God bids us to do. Jesus made away for us to listen and he will guide us what to do. He is listening and if you listen he will speak back. Have faith that no matter what he leads us to do, we will find a blessing in it. Even if that is jumping in a mud puddle. We don’t need to do some grand act. All we have to do is listen after we make our request known and then follow his instructions. I know if I am sick sick God says go lay in a muddy river, I am diving in.
