Teach Your Children

Proverbs 22:6

6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I know there are people out there that were raised in church and turned away from it. I know parents fill like they failed. They haven’t, as long as they taught thier children to serve God. You can say a child can learn morals without teaching them Christ, but there is just something about the good book. Growing up I was one of those children who left the path to get away from my father’s teachings. I ran for a while, but God brought me back. The thing is, your children will mess up. Most will leave church. However, if you have taught them of the right path, they will remember how to find it again. Dont think just because your child is not listening that it is useless because I was one of those kids. Now I am a preacher and found the path that God has laid out for me. So teach your children of our wonderful saviour. Let them know to always follow him. They may stray away, but God will bring them home.
