Stand Your Ground

Ephesians 6:13

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

I know this is preached numerous times. I know every Christian has heard of the Armour of God, but there is something I want to point out here. He told us to stand. When there is nothing left to do I urge you to stand. It is the hardest thing to do at times, but think of the 3 hebrew children, all they did was stand. When you feel that the devil is attacking you and you are beat down stand up. Don’t give ground. Dig your heels in the ground and just stand. When the assault ends, because you prayed for God to intervene, then start wrestling to move forward. When he attacks again keep fighting til you can’t. Then dig in and stand. I am watching men and women I thought would stand thier ground give ground to the enemy because it is what is accepted. They think if they just give a little the assault will end. I say don’t give him an inch, because that is when he tries to take a mile. When you get tired tighten your shield around your arm, like you are Captian America, put it in front if you and dig your heels in. Stand thier and wait for your backup. Once it arrives take your sword, the word, and begin to press onward. We will be attacked We will be beat down. We will be attack by everyone, from the governments of this world to our friends, for our beliefs. Don’t back down. Tighten your armour up, grip your sword, raise your shield, and stand your ground.
