Psalms 144:1-2
1Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
I know the thought of going to battle is far from everyone’s minds, but in a spiritual since we are in a war with the adversary. If you have prayed for someone, stood and testified, or led someone to Christ then you have fired a shot at the enemy. Just by accepting Jesus as you lord and savior you have become a soldier in God’s army, but he is the thing, God has given us the instructions how to fight. Their are 66 books in the Bible that tell us what the enemy will do and to watch for it. He also tells us how to win the battles. One thing we can do is pray. It is one of our main weapons we have. Pray and tell God you need help. Pray and let God know someone you know needs guidance. The best part is, God is our strong tower. So when the devil comes knocking God has placed us on the high ground. So do not be afraid, just stay prepared for war. Let God lead you through the battles. He will strengthen you for the next victory, because if we surrender to him that is all we will ever have, sweet victory.
