Commitment To God

Proverbs 16:3 – Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Why do we pray for the sinner, give help to those in need, and do the works that God called us to do? It is because when we accept Jesus, we make a commitment to God that we will do his work. We will help the poor, tend to the sick, and pray for the sinner. We do not do this for our personal gain. We do this because it is what God has called us to do.
